For those who are not familiar with compounding yield it is basically the effect of layers. It is like the tree that gets thicker year after year as new layers are grown. If you cut it through, you can count the layers.

The same goes for an investment. The longer you keep your investment, the more it grows and the more it adds on top.

The thing is that it is not linear - it is exponential. So sit back, relax and, keep compounding for 20 or 30 years and your money will be 4 to 8 times more.. Just like the tree and just as sustainable. Start young and the wonders of the world kicks in.
